2014 KTM 125 SX - 2 Stroke!!!

My first 2 Stroke!

Yes, this is my first 2 stroke, my first MX bike, my first full-sized proper dirt bike, etc. And I couldn’t be happier with my choice. For only $2,900 I felt like I stole this thing and even though I spent a little bit on mods, it was still well worth the money.

MODS

KTM Hour Meter

I take care of my bikes, I like to maintain them and treat them right. The best way to start this process is to keep track of the amount of hours I put on my KTM, and what better way to do that than to add an hour meter! I KNOW I over spent on this part, at $39.99 this is definitely not a cheap hour meter, but I wanted KTM original quality and I don’t mind spending $10 extra dollars 🙂

Kick Stand

I hate not having a kickstand. It’s annoying having to lean the bike against a tree every time I want to pull over. I know it’s not fitting on an MX bike, but I just had to do it. Annoyingly I way overspent on this part (I’m beginning to see a theme here) at $172.29 I kinda feel stupid for buying it, but it works and it works well, so no complaints. If I had to do it again then I would have shopped around for a better price.

Foot Pegs

After riding my KTM I knew I needed better foot pegs. My feet kept flying off the pegs and it actually caused me to crash a couple times. These Foot pegs are high quality and work extremely well, easily fixed my problem! At $84.55 it was a bargain!

Acerbis Front Brake Protector

I primarily ride on very rocky terrain. Because of this it made sense for me to invest into some brake rotor protection. Plus I love the way it looks! $45.76

Tusk Rear Brake Protector

Same as the front, rocks and brake rotors don’t mix well, plus it looks great 🙂 $49.99

Brake Pedal Extender

I  bought a brake extender on my KTM SuperMoto and I LOVED it. I noticed it was difficult to sometimes find the rear brake lever, especially with boots on. This solved that issue. $27.00

KTM Grab Handle

A bit of an impulse buy. I knew I didn’t need this but after seeing it I felt like it was a genius idea. It wasn’t until I got it and tried it that I truly saw the genius in the design. It REALLY makes it easier to pick the bike up. I am VERY happy with it and it has quickly become one of my favorite mods. I highly recommend. $39.99
